No, it does not force them.

If you’re looking for that kind of path, the options I could suggest would be:

• a Typeform or other form tool that you integrate into Productboard using either Zapier or our API
• a Slack workflow form which you can either push manually using our integration or integrate via Zapier or our API

I will say that it’s typically best to capture the feedback in whatever way your team can provide it. The more barriers (real or false) we add to them sharing, the more likely you won’t get the feedback at all.

 Structured feedback is good, and providing that can easily be taught and guided rather than via a form folks fill out or have to strictly follow.

@Shawn at Forethought Mind sharing the steps / process you used for your TypeForm integration? We are looking to do the same thing for product feedback. Instead of using notes, we want to have a form that employees can fill out that syncs to their appropriate fields/attributes in Productboard. This would be a great way for us to clean up our account and also “almost” guarantee that we assign value to the feedback so it doesn’t get lost or buried. 

@Shawn at Forethought you can do that. Happy to get on a call with you and/or @kevinmaccauley to show you how to do that if unclear. There are various options here — Typeform’s native integration with Productboard is a bit more limited that Zapier directly, but you should be able to map multiple fields to the note content using Zapier.
