Productboard and Dovetail

Moved this over to it’s own topic (hope you don’t mind).

Unfortunately at this time Dovetail does not have an API or way to create integrations, so there aren’t a lot of options here.

They do support Zapier, and some teams use that to connect Dovetail Insights to Productboard Notes which can then be turned into Productboard insights to help inform your team’s prioritization.

I’m also trying to sort this out. Our Product Team has started using Dovetail to help with organizing their interview feedback before sending it over to Productboard. We want to capture all insights in one place (productboard), but the team finds the tagging and organizational structure in dovetail easier to put their thoughts together around a core problem or theme. They can also have their own space to dump their thoughts, which PB doesn’t offer today.  Their individual project tags also don’t clutter up our team tag structure in productboard..  I tried connecting via Zapier, but you can only push from Dovetail to Productboard when the note is created, but I need to push it *after* their tags, etc, and do their thing. 

How does Productboard manage interview data? 

In a weird way, needing to summarise in Productboard is an interesting way to synthesise the problem or “story” I use gong in a similar way and I just push parts of the transcript
