We have now enhanced our APIs and Intercom/Zendesk integrations with external ID support.
This enables you to identify unique users, even if your source tool does not collect email addresses. Beyond making your security teams happy, this will also increase the number of other integrations your Productboard space is qualified for, such as bringing in user properties, segments or cohorts from your other tools.
Enabling external IDs is easy, just go to your existing Zendesk or Intercom integration and click “import external IDs”. You will immediately start importing external IDs.
The feature is in a fully complete stage, but we are spending the next 20 days in an open beta, during which we will be available to provide hands-on support.
