Zooming on roadmaps
🚀 We’ve just released Zooming on Timeline Roadmaps. This allows you to zoom in and out of timeline roadmaps easily. 🚨 What’s new?On any timeline roadmap you will see options to zoom in and out on the bottom right hand side of your screen. You can also zoom in and out of timeline roadmaps by pinching and track pad on your device.💪Why is it important? You will be able to view your roadmap at the granularity that suits you📈 What’s next?We want to hear your feedback on how we can make Productboard roadmaps more presentable. We're thinking about a mini-map for larger roadmap, enabling zoom on column roadmaps, full-screen mode and much more to make Productboard roadmaps more presentable.
Drag and Drop images
Hello Everyone!I am excited to announce that we have released the ability to drag and drop images into manual notes & feature descriptions.👉 What is new?To add an inline image into a note or a feature description, you can now simply drag and drop the image. Once you drop the image, it will be pasted into the given line. In your notes, you can then easily highlight the image and link it to your feature idea as an insight. Images can be added into editable notes and feature descriptions.💪 Why is it valuable?A picture is worth a thousand words. 🖼 You could already add inline images to description fields by copy-pasting the image or an image URL, but now it's even easier to do so by simply drag-and-dropping the image directly into the text editor.🛑 What are the known limitations? This feature is not yet available in Safari browser.📚 DocumentationFind out more in our Help Centre article.
Performance improvements for the insights board
Hello! I'm super excited to announce that we've just rolled out a major improvement to how we load the insights board, resulting in much faster loading times - especially if there is a lot of data related to the insights board in your space. What is new?Prior to these improvements, whenever you opened the insights board, we would load all the notes in your organisation before you could interact with the content. Now, we only load the notes you actually need, so you can spend less time staring at the loading screen, and more time doing the work that matters. Why is it important? Loading times for your insights board are now independent from the amount of notes you have. As your organisation keeps collecting more and more feedback, performance will scale with it!The more notes you have the bigger benefit you can expect to see. Organisations with an extremely large amount of notes (>30k) can expect to see up to 50% decrease in average loading times; whereas spaces with thousands of n

You can manage the product permissions by clicking on the product, and the product access dialog will appear where you can change the access of that product. Why is it important? You can now easily view your team’s access to all the products and set product permissions directly on the Teams page. Please note that this feature is only available on the Enterprise pricing plan.
Dependencies - Lines & Conflicts
🚀We’ve just released improvements to our Dependencies feature, including visualisation by lines and better conflict management. This allows you to visualise dependencies as lines on any roadmap. You can also easily identify and manage a dependency that has a conflict. Available on the Scale & Enterprise plans. ️🚨 What’s new?In the roadmap settings you can click "Display Lines" under the Dependencies section to enable the visualisation of lines on your roadmap You will be able to see dependencies between features on the same roadmap appear as grey lines. If both features in the relationship have timeframes selected then you can see if there is a conflict based on their feature timeframes and relationship to each other. When a dependency is in conflict then the line on the roadmap between the two features will appear red. If you resolve the conflict the line will appear grey again. When a dependency is in conflict you can also see this in the feature side-bar or on the features boa
Custom field swimlanes on column roadmaps
We’ve just released Custom Field Swimlanes on column roadmaps. This allows makers to pivot their data using their custom dropdown fields. For example, makers can select product areas as custom fields and then see each product area clearly on their roadmap as swimlanes. Available on the Pro, Scale & Enterprise plans. 👉 What’s new?In the Settings for your roadmap, on the swimlanes menu, now you can choose any of your existing custom dropdown fields as swimlane options. Once you select a custom field, you can visualize each value in the field as a swimlane on your column roadmaps. All Productboard’s standard swimlane functionality is supported. For example, you can quickly add Features to swimlanes directly, and you can also hide, collapse, and reposition swimlanes. In addition, now you can also create new custom fields and values right from the Roadmap. You don’t have to leave your current view to create your desired visualization. It’s that easy! 💪 Why is it important? We know you

Hello everyone, I’m excited to announce that Product Permissions is now LIVE! What’s new?Makers that have full-access access to a product will be able to set the company level access to full-access, read-only or restricted access to other users For read-only products, only makers that are granted full-access access to a product will have edit access to the product hierarchy, all other users will only have read-only access Makers can set restricted access to products that need to be hidden.
