Lean UX AMA: Designing great products with agile teams

Synopsis

Lean UX was first published in 2013 and transformed how Agile teams work together to design great products. Jeff Gothelf helped develop the system after seeing issues with his team and how they were working together and that later turned into a best-selling book and a practice teaching teams how to:

  • Remove waste and remove time-consuming efforts like frequent documentation and shift to creating MVPs that drive quick learning
  • Build a culture of constant collaboration – bringing together designers, developers, product managers, QA, marketing and other stakeholders
  • Drive ongoing experimentation to uncover learnings and insights into their products

In 2021 Jeff Gothelf and Josh Seiden released an updated edition of the book expanding on the principles, tactics, and techniques and lessons about how product teams can incorporate design, experimentation, iteration, and continuous learning from real users into their Agile process.

In this AMA, you’ll get a chance to talk with Jeff, share your questions, and hear Jeff’s thoughts on how you can increase collaboration, improve outcomes, streamline your feedback process, reduce time-to-market, and strengthen your user research and deliver products that matter for your business and users.
