Kara will provide a simple 5 step process for how anyone can ‘build teams’ from the ground up based on her 10+ years of experience collaborating with and establishing all kinds of teams on very different products and programs (in-person, remotely, and globally).
Not only is it extremely difficult to start from zero and aim for the ultimate goal of building a strong, agile, and open-minded team who can make an impact.

Kara is a product, operations, and technology professional with experience in early to growth-stage startups, international development, nonprofit, and political campaigns. Kara focuses on advocating based on data-driven results, tackling new problems, and creating a positive impact through motivating teams. She brings extensive experience in launching new products, building onboarding workflows, and improving business processes. In her current role as a Senior Product Manager for Zip, she leads the organization’s product strategy for Zip’s Internal Tools, Customer Success and Payments teams for the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK.
